Fitness App

I miss the days where I didn't have to worry about weight, when I was little miss skinny. Now I'm struggling and I don't like it. I'm not fat, but I don't like the direction my body is taking me. I want to be strong. I want to be healthy. I want to help my weak knees by not carrying unnecessary weight. I want to live to see my children become successful adults.

There are three weapons helping me with my healthy desire. The book Eat to Live is amazing. It is helping me change the way I think about food. I need to read it again.

I am also using the app My Fitness Pal. It's free and easy to use! If you want to be my fitness pal you can find me as Katrinebean14691.

My final weapon is the elliptical my man bought several months ago.  I like to push myself to the limits while watching an action film.  I like to pretend I'm chasing the bad guy with the hero in the movie.  Silly, but it works for me!

Finally, I stumbled across She has written a book called The Fire Starters Sessions for entrepreneurs which I plan on reading. But I wanted to share this video with you. The message is strong. I especially like it when she says "Balance is a myth." Isn't that a relief? You can't balance everything you have in your life. You have to let some things go. What a release! And "release" is my word for the year. Just make it happen!
