Pre-Empty Nest Syndrome

Summer Vacay is over! School has officially begun. Cameron started the 8th grade, Ethan is now in 5th grade, and be still my heart, my baby Devin is now in kindergarten.

When my oldest, Madison, started kindergarten I was excited for her.  There were no tears and it was a joyous occasion.  The same is true for the middle two.  Now that my baby has started this stage of life, the excitement is tempered by a bit of sadness.  There are no babies at home with me now during the day.  They all have little lives apart from my own.  There is empty nest syndrome.  But what syndrome do you have when all your littles are off to their separate schools? Pre-Empty Nest Syndrome?

Looks like you'll have more time for blogging. I was beginning to think you stopped because I started following you. ;)
I think it might be good that kindergarten is only half days here. Gives us a chance to ease into our kid free days. But it really is an adjustment. In the best and worst ways.
