I don't have a clean house.
I said it.
I like having a clean house. And my house is soooo much cleaner than the one I grew up in. But it's not as clean as I would like it. And definitely not as clean as the husband would like it.
The other day I felt this strong urge to clean. I mean, really clean. Those urges don't come often so I knew I had to act on it quickly. I spring cleaned the family room. Boy, did it look good. I began to spring clean the dining room. After that room was sparkling I turned my attention back to the family room. Boy, did my boy sure dirty that room while I was busy!
Have you heard that saying, cleaning with kids is like shoveling snow while it's still snowing? Yes.
I lost all motivation to clean.
So in an effort to get back my mojo I googled "motivate me." Don't do it. I warn you. I'm here to tell you that motivate me must be referring to a phrase I am not aware of, because those pictures are not child friendly. Or Mormon mama friendly. And they shouldn't be friendly to you, either. Shame on you! I told you not to google it.
