Warriors of Light

Today I heard a song that I haven't heard in 20 years. And as songs have a way of doing, the melody and lyrics took me back in time.  The song is Warriors of Light by Afterglow, an LDS group.  Many know my brother from his blog. But did you know Mr. Show is not only a brilliant teacher, father, and writer, but he is also a singer? I heard Jason sing this song in front of a seminary class with his beautiful tenor voice and it was inspiring.
I still think of Jason singing for my mom on a cassette tape whenever I sing "How Great Thou Art" at church.  The memory of my brother's voice always makes me want to be better and do better.  Thanks, Jason!

Afterglow! Now there's a blast from the past. Thanks for the compliment.

So how about now? Would my voice singing a rendition of Britney Spear's "Womanizer" still make you want to be a better person? No? How about Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance?"

This post makes me sad. Reminiscent and sad.
