I am now an employee at 1-800-Contacts! I'm actually excited about the job. It seems like a great place to work. The building is clean, and in a great place for a commute. The people were very friendly and everyone there said they loved their job. The pay is good. They even have a gym I can work out in for free. The hours are as good as it can get for a mama of 4. And there is even a possibility of working from home after a year.
But I'm not excited about trying to coordinate child care. It is important that my children remain alive while I work. Just a minor detail.

I'm excited for you, and hope the job provides the resources necessary until your house in TX sells.
Good luck with everything. Let me know if you need anything.
QUESTION: Do you get free contacts for your near blind sister-in-law?
For some reason, your new blogs aren't being updated on my reader, so I've missed your past few posts.
A working mother! 1-800-CONTACTS! Wow!
And still, the house hasn't sold. That's terrible. I am so sorry. I need to call you so we can catch up for real.
Just wanted to send you a note that I'm missing your blog posts. I know you're working now and it's harder. I understand, just wanted to express my appreciation for your words.
