Today was our last Sunday in the Lone Star State. I pictured a lovely Sunday morning with my children at church. We were going to say good-bye to all our friends we've made over the past 13 years. It was going to be bitter sweet.
Unfortunately, I've had a lot of bitter the past couple of weeks. Madison and I are sick. We're sickies. As a mother you're not allowed to be sick. And as Michael Scott said on The Office tonight, "Don't let the sick rest." So I haven't much, except for that one hour nap today.
So, we didn't get our final Sunday. Daniel and Heidi didn't come to visit because I didn't want to risk Henry getting our germs. I have a list of things to do but I can't seem to wrap my brain around any of it.
But we're okay. We're surviving. I'm coping.
