And The Small Tote Bag Goes To....

I made a small tote bag for Madison.
She didn't like it.
So I gave it to someone who will appreciate it.
Myself!

001

A nice long strap so that you can wear it cross wise across your body.  This is a very important factor if you were born without shoulders.  I don't have any shoulders.  I enjoyed the '80's because of the shoulder pads.

002

It has 2 large pockets, one with a zipper and one without.  It has 1 small pocket with a zipper, perfect for a cell phone.  Madison used to call a cell phone a cell-a-phone, like a telephone.  So cute!

Notice the cute dotted lining.  I used this purse last night.  But it won't be my everyday bag because it won't hold all of the diaper, wipes, sippy cup, and snack thing I've got going on.

You made that? That's about the cutest tote I have seen, and with a zipper compartment no less. Looks like three different fabrics...so well coordinated too. GF, you need to start selling those. Maybe advertise on your blog and Jason's. Cuz just between youi and me, you can't believe how many stylish women read his blog.

C.U.T.E! I love that little bag! I have made a few cute purses in my day, but I can't do zippers and my pockets leave a lot to be desired. I envy your sewing skills!

Oh I love that Grandma J!!! She knows how to make a guy feel good about himself.
I want a bag just like this, only in a more masculine print, please.
I'm still in search of the perfect murse.

You are so out of my league! Yes, you could definitely sell those cute little bags! Meghan hates everthing that I love now too. Cell-a-phone that is so cute. Meghan was traumatized this last year when a friend in her 6th grade class had to break the news to her that it was "ear lobe" not "ear loaf" -she can add that to her growing list of things to address in therapy...(:
