Winter Funk

Man, oh man.  I've been in a funk.  I'm more funkier than I've ever been.  Do you think it's possible to have post partum depression 11 months after your baby's born?  In hopes to get past this funkiness, today I will do the following:

  1. Read a chapter from Living Your Best Life Now.  The author, Joel Osteen always inspires me to think positive.

  2. Take a shower.  Yes, it's now 9:30 and I haven't showered yet.  I woke up late and the bus won't wait for you to feel refreshed.

  3. Take 2 advil.  I slept wrong and my neck is kinked and sore.

  4. Sew.  It always makes me feel better to feel creative.  I wish I could share what I'm working on but it would ruin a Christmas secret.

  5. Drink Dr. Pepper.  It always does me good!

  6. Play ball with Devin.  He loves it and he's just so cute!

What do you do to get yourself out of a funk?

I exercise. But when you're in a funk it's hard to make yourself do that. So, sometimes my DH has to gently nudge me into doing it. But, it always, always helps get me out of the funk.

My mom always gets me through the crazy days. She makes me a delicious meal and is so so so sympathetic...I'll send her over.

I'm kinda spoiled when it comes to that. I just grab my annual pass & head over to Disney World where I find it completely impossible to be anything but happy. I don't suppose that really helps you any. =P
