Only four more days of school. Sigh. It's a good thing to have my children at home. But there comes a time every summer when I look at them as they are hitting, throwing, yelling, or crying and I think, "I don't know what to do with you anymore."
But more often there are the times that they are playing, laughing, and just plain cute that I think, "I'm so blessed to have them in my life!"
I'm also looking forward to not having to threaten them with no X-box for the next century to get them to bed on time. I often say to them, "Don't mess with the lady who has the power of the X-box!" Most of all, I am so glad I won't have to drag their lifeless bodies out of bed in the morning. Sometimes it feels so good to not have a routine!
I realized today that in 3 years I will have 3 different children in 3 different schools. And in 6 years I will have 4 children in 4 different schools. Madison will be attending college, Cameron in high school, Ethan in middle school, and finally Devin in Elementary school. Crazy! That's one disadvantage of having children spaced so far apart. They are all going in different directions at the same time and you are being pulled every direction behind them.
You can never have enough baby bibs! If you would like this pattern, please send me your email address.
