I purchased this little treasure at Target last year. It's our advent calendar. I love it as much as our children do. Each day we open a little door and remove the treasure from inside. This year we also have a paper and sticker advent calendar that follows the scriptures. It is a sweet time each night as we take just a minute with each other.
I'm so glad John took a picture of our home with the lights. By 7:00 at night I'm pretty worthless so I don't think I'd ever get around to taking photos. Do you see that top peek on our house? John risked it all to put up those lights for me. I wasn't aware of his fear of heights, or his "fear of falling" as he refers to it, until I watched him climb up 20 feet. And being the sweet, kind, thoughtful wife, I laughed the entire time!
I bought Zoe an early Christmas gift. When bitten correctly, this little tree sings "Oh Christmas Tree" in a demonic voice. It's just another little thing to entertain me while it freaks my husband out.
The house is quiet. Everyone is in school and at work. I need to cherish this time because I know it will pass quickly and my free time will be gone with a new baby. So, I am going to work on my scrapbook class and then I have a date with my man for lunch.
