I was able to spend some much needed time with all my brothers at the same time. This hasn't happend in several years. I love these guys. I miss these guys. But I don't love them enough to not pick the stupidest pictures of them for my blog! hahaha!!!
Paul, Ray, Jason
I especially loved this trip because I got to spend a lot of time with my beautiful niece Amelia. I can't believe how much she's grown. That girl has a strong sense of self and I'm proud of her. Several people asked me if she was my daughter. I'll claim her!
And I cannot believe I didn't get a picture of my niece Hilary! I'm such a terrible aunt! I had a lot of time shopping with her and seeing her interact with her sister and her dad.
And here are my sisters-in-law. I must say my brother's did good! They are all such wonderful ladies. I would go on and on about how much I love them but I've already spent 90 minutes trying to download all these pictures! So love love love to you all!
And here's Laura. My wonderful hostess! I stayed at her house during the weekend. I got to love on her dog and eat her food. I always feel to welcome at her house. Here she is with my brother Ray. Don't they make a beautiful couple?
Since I've been home (after an unfortunate plane flight home that took 6 hours instead of 3) I have been busy with children, schools, work, preparing my lessons for the store, watching our home get built, and various other things that are overwhelming me at the moment.
Speaking of the new house take a little look at this! It's the granite, tile back splash, and kitchen cupboards. One of my favorite things in this house is the kitchen. It will be even better when there isn't that coating of dirt over everything!
And just to make sure I'm paying attention Madison slammed her finger in the door. She did it Sunday night as she was leaving the house to come get me at the airport. We've kept it wrapped and given her ibuprofen. So yesterday she goes to the school nurse for more tape. The nurse says, "Do your parents know about this?"
"Well, I think it may be broken and you should probably have it looked at."
So, after having my precious child walk around broken for 4 days I finally decided it was my parental duty to give her some medical attention. (bad mom) The Dr. doesn't think it's broken but we had X-rays done to make certain that she didn't harm the growth plate in her first knuckle. If she did then that will mean surgery. If she only bruised it or broke another bone then we will continue taping and giving her ibuprofen.
And that's that. I have spent far to long on this little blog and neglected my duty as mother, wife, and dog owner while I have tried to share a little of my life with my 3 readers!
