Yes. That is a picture of a baby. Our baby. My baby. My fourth baby! I'm 12 weeks now, my last week of my first trimester.
John went with me to my second Doctor's appointment. We listened to the little heart beat. The sound was familiar but still so thrilling. I told the Dr. that John was with me because we were in denial that I was really pregnant. So he said, "Well, you've heard the baby, now let's see the baby!"
So we got to have an ultra sound. Can I tell you how much I love my Dr?! He hooked me up and there was a round little ball with little arms and legs sticking out from the mass. You could see the heart beating. My Dr said, "There's the kid!" Then that little ball started rolling and flipping all over the place. It was fascinating to see this little thing moving so quickly and I couldn't feel anything.
We told our other 3 babies last week that they were going to have a new baby brother or sister in their family. They are all very excited, especially the two boys. Ethan keeps saying, "When I turn 5, I'm going to get a baby!"
I think the biggest reason I haven't been on my little blog is because it is hard for me to keep secrets. I couldn't write about my pregnancy until we were past the denial stage, and we had told family. I am naturally a more open person and John is much more private. So, if I have to hold back about something my writing completely stops! So, here's my truth, let the blogging continue!
