Cameron had to write about his shoes at school. He wrote, "I knew I needed new shoes when the lights stopped working."
Cameron has shoes that light up when he steps. Well, one of the lights stopped working months ago. Of course a temper tantrum and gnashing of the teeth followed. I haven't replaced his "broken" shoes yet because they still fit him. But apparently he hasn't forgotten that he needs to have his shoes replaced. And now the teacher knows of his broken foot wear.
Do you remember the good old days? Not only did we have to walk to school up hill, both ways, in three feet of snow, but our shoes did not come with lights! I also remember I knew it was time to replace my shoes when they were too small or they had holes in them. I'm just glad I don't have to buy batteries for his shoes.
