Capes and Utah Cold

Madison had her choir concert at school last night. Not only is she the smallest one in her school, but she is the cutest too! I took out pictures of her singing, but bad lighting and the fact that we had to sit so far away doesn't make good pictures.

I finished the gift I made for E. She should be done with radiation at the end of the month. We are doing a count down for her. For everyday she left of radiation she gets to open a new gift. I made this cape for her. I got the idea from
Jennifer. My thoughts behind this cape is that it would be easy to curl up in if she's cold and the hat part would keep her little bald head warm. I used the softest fleece and flannel for the linining. I used the green fabric because it is E's favorite color. Ethan's modeling it for me.

But I don't know. It didn't turn out as cute as Jennifer's. I think it's the fabric. Sometimes I think it is the cutest thing. But other times I think it is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Oh well, I wanted to send her some love and hopefully she'll feel that love across the miles.
Please pray for E. She's having a hard time eating. Be strong E!

It's cold here today. Like Utah cold! I'm loving it.
