ANGER

To my faithful blog readers (all 3 of you, lol!) in the past you've read about my sweet sister-in-law battling bone cancer. My brother and his wife have shown such faith and determination as they go through this. And then this happens:
(Heidi wrote this from her website Help Heidi)

Well, only three more treatments left! I am kind of dreading my week long treatment tomorrow, but I am sure I'll do fine. I have gained (I think) 6 pounds, and I am feeling great. My eyebrows and eyelashes are even growing back; but Dan is pretty sure that they will fall out again. I hope not. I wouldn't mind being bald if I could have eyelashes and eyebrows. I felt so good this last week that I was even able to work. I think that I will forget how to take x-rays, but I did pretty good, if I could say so myself. On the cancer front I am doing pretty good. On my other life front, things have been crazy. In five weeks we had both of our cars break down and a scooter stolen. Sometimes it's like, "come on!' How much can two people take. But I guess the Lord won't give you what you can't handle. Our Thanksgiving went well. We went to some friends from church and had a great time. I also found out that dogs do not like yams. I've tried to decorate my house for Christmas, only to have Myla (Dog) eat my Christmas lights off the patio. She has been sick for two days! (This is why I can't have nice things.) But before I know it the year will be over and I will be getting my life back together. Once again thank you all for your love and support.

Daniel bought a little scooter so he could get to work and school after one of their cars broke down. Then their scooter was stolen. And then their other car broke down. Both of their cars were very old and it isn't worth the expense to try to fix them. I just can't believe someone would steal their scooter. It wasn't fancy. It was needed to help them make their lives a little easier. What creep thinks he has the right to do that?

So, please pray for Daniel and Heidi. I am so grateful Heidi is doing so well with her treatments. I pray for her health, for Daniel while he takes the LSAT today, and that they win a car or something!

Life is so unfair sometimes and when it rains it pours, it seems like. Like they always say, if you think you've got problems, take a look at someone else's problems. I think Daniel and Heidi will pull out of this just fine eventually, but gee things are so tough right now!Big Brother
