Translation: Mommy was having a nervous breakdown.
So, I went to see In Her Shoes It was very good. J thinks I'm crazy to go to a movie by myself. But actually, I liked it. This may mean I'm a loner, but I can live with that.
And what do you do different when you have a friend sitting next to you? It's not like you can talk to them during the movie anyway. Unless you are the person sitting BEHIND ME last night. Then you think you can talk to your friend during the entire show.
"That's so funny!" She'd say when something funny happened. (I'm going to call this obnoxious lady Vegetable Lasagna because there's an episode on Seinfeld where Elaine calls a guy sitting next to her on an airplane Vegetable Lasagna) There was a part in the show when the character is opening birthday cards and Vegetable Lasagna would read every card out loud. Okay, Vegetable Lasagna, everyone in this theater is over 18 and we can read! And consider the fact that there are only 10 people in this theater so everyone can hear you! And Vegetable Lasagna had that really loud laugh that you can't decide if it's a laugh or perhaps she has developed a bad case of croup. Cameron Diaz isn't that funny!
Anyway, I would highly recommend the movie. It's a really good movie for sisters to see together. But I don't have any sisters so that must be another reason why I went to the movie by myself. So, go see it, and here's hoping you don't sit in front of Vegetable Lasagna!
