We decorated our house for Christmas last night. Yup, our tree is up. Usually I wait until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate, but we're having friends over that day so I wanted to have the house pretty and festive.
Now that we've talked about Thanksgving and Christmas let's hop on back to Halloween. Now do you understand why I feel like that hamster, everything keeps circling around and around in my head! Just before Halloween I signed up for an ATC swap hosted by Marilyn. For those that don't know what an ATC is, it stands for "Artist Trading Card." You design cards that are 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" and swap them with other artists. Kind of like trading baseball cards, if you will. This is my first swap and I've had great fun recieving these little goodies in the mail. Actually, I think Madison had more fun than I did.
Here's the one I did. The theme was Hocus Pocus:
And here are the ones I recieved: (I should get 3 more before too long)
Unfortunately, the scan don't do these little pieces of artwork justice. They look so much richer and detailed in real life.
Okay, go eat turkey!
